Just In Time!

For all of you that don´t know about Justus Köhncke, he is a german producer that has been around for a long time and he was part of the Whirpool Productions team that gave us "From Disco to Disco" and made us dance with it a long time ago, that was before he started working in his own magical stuff. He released his first solo material back in 1999 with Spiralen der Erinnerung which was an all covers album, two years later he signs with Kompakt (One of our favorite labels) and two great singles come out "Jet" and "2 After 909", which were then included in his first LP in Kompakt called Was Ist Musik.

Köhncke continued to evolve and the result was his third album "Doppelleben" released in 2005 which is a little more "happy" album to put it in some words. Catchy intelligent pop mixed with some disco sounds and you get these excellent tracks. Both of the albums that I just mentioned include different styles of music, some tracks to chill and relax and some other to put into a great mixtape and start partying.

These tracks are not new but you will appreciate it more than a brand new Justice track, these are pure art. As always you can be the judge but don't hesitate in giving it a try, another high recommendation by theneonridercrew. Since Christmas is all about giving I'm not being cheap on you and I'm gonna hit you with three tracks and a bonus remembrance. First "2 After 909" from his first album, then "Elan" from Doppelleben which reminds me a litte bit of Metro Area (My favorite Köhncke track) and the third one is his latest work, a great remix for "Paris" by Friendly Fires. After listening go out and buy this great albums and show Justus some myspace love!

I just did a post on Justus! Thanks, yours is more informative and you have a couple tracks I didn't have too. People need to start listening to actual musicians and not just a 16 year old making distored sounds on a mac book!

Respect.
