Tirk Time!

Weeks have passed since you haven't seen a post by me, but believe me is really hard to find something different out there, good tracks that come and go but not something that makes us feel fresh, excited, maybe is theneonrider crew that has become too picky but in the meanwhile I'll leave you with some greatness that we have been listening to a lot, some of them recent some of them not that much but all of them from Tirk Records one of our favorite labels.

I'm not going to dig on biographies, info and details of this great artists, this is because we want to encourage you to buy these records, support the artist, show some love! All of this is neonrider material, pure quality.

Morten Sorenson - Woo Hoo

Syclops - The Fly

Sorcerer - Hawaiian Island

Hedford Vachal - Toys

Just for your information, Syclops had this release on Tirk Records last september before they were on the DFA crew. We hope that you enjoy this four different acts, we always like to give you something new, something that not everyone is listening to but like always we'll leave that judgement to you, stick around we have been busy but we are going to make it up to you.

Enjoy!

Sorry for the quality of the video but it's a bootleg shot at the ComicCon. So enjoy the video and feel like a kid again. As soon theres a good quality version I'll put it up.

Feeling Romantic?

Since few acts are really exciting right now, I'm going to classic on you and that can never go bad. This time is turn for Detroit's own The Romantics with their big 1983 hit "Talking in your Sleep" taken out from their album In Heat, really great song which remind us how people use to do really good things in the 80s. This band had some hits during the 1980s but by managerial problems and differences between band members they were finally through in the mid 90s.

We were listening to some Romantics hits lately and then a few days ago we got this really great remix for this gem, monsieur Anoraak put his hands on it and he did magic on it filled with a great beat and vocals that blended just perfectly. I'm leaving you both tracks but we know that the original belongs to our classic neon sounds list, simply great.

House of Cards

The new video of Radiohead's House of Cards, was shot without cameras or lights. Instead two technologies were used to capture 3D images: Geometric Informatics and Velodyne LIDAR.

Geometric Informatics scanning systems produce structured light to capture 3D images at close proximity, while a Velodyne Lidar system that uses multiple lasers is used to capture large environments such as landscapes. In this video, 64 lasers rotating and shooting in a 360 degree radius 900 times per minute produced all the exterior scenes.

I think is a great way to make a music video thinking out of the box and again mixing new techniques and great talent. Hope you like it and watch the making-of video to learn about how the video was made and the various technologies that were used to capture and render 3D data.

Anoraak's Day off!

You read it right Anoraak's version of Xinobi's great track Day Off is in the house.

Anoraak is giving his own touch to Xinobi's Day off. This remix is what you expect, arpeggio sounds great production and sound, and he makes this song as if it was his own. Anoraak was nice to send us a low quality version of the song so you can go and buy it at beatport. This will be on Xinobi's 12" release so go to beatport and buy it in hi quality, and keep supporting this Neon Talents cause you know theyr'e the next big thing.

As a double treat I'm going to leave you with the original Xinobi's Day off, and its an actual re-edit of the original version. So if you haven't heard this song get it now and I know you will start dancing right away with this tune. Badass track!

Combo is back!

Sorry I havent post anything in a while but we've been really busy lately , but that's going to change, I promise.

Anyway enough bullshit and back to the real shit. Our good friend Combo is back with some goodies for all you Neon Rider Fans out there.

Two tracks, Michel Michel and Hiroshima a Darlings of the Splitscreen remix, combo style. Michel Michel has this chords all over the song very 80's style this kind of song takes you back to the good old teenage flicks from back then. Hiroshima's sound is a down tempo with synts tweaks and a funky sound here and there good remix, this song well make your head move while your cruising the coast.....The original version is pretty awesome and it will make you dance and shake your head and your ass if you can.

Anyway as always this Neon Talent delivers and we think you're going to enjoy it, again! Add Combo to your myspace and as always stay tuned for more of him.

I'm giving you the original version of Hiroshima too, so shake that ass and get it, and please don't let a skinny girl let you go.

Caution... Extremely Pop

We are back with something fresh again and this time it's turn to talk about Grovesnor a band you might know but we needed to post. If you're into Hot Chip or Erlend Oye and Lionel Richie we are sure you're going to love it. If you're still into MSTRKRFT mmmm we're not sure.
Rob Smoughton released "Drive your car" in April with Greco Roman Records, but we feel people need to listen to it more and love it just like we do. You might heard about "nitemoves" a song that was included on the Hot Chip DJ Kicks comp. Hope you like it!
