Ghost in the Water

Today it's turn for Ghost in the Water a great act from Minneapolis. The band is formed by Nathan and Mandy Tensen Woolery, they are a married couple making great sounds and amazing vocals together in this new act. They have been making music for a long time, formerly as Fitzgerald an indie pop band. Two years ago they decided to turn to another direction and that's how Ghost in the Water started.

We asked them about some of their influences and we found many styles mixed there, eighties bands like The Cure, Talk Talk, Siouxsie,Prince and also some contemporaries like Bjork, The Go Find, Styrofoam and the Radio Dept. They just released their debut album called "Tooth", it´s a really smooth record filled with smooth sounds like violins, guitars combined with melodic electro and vocals that fit just right. It's a great album to be on your car driving by yourself, on the beach watching the sunset or in your bedroom reading a book. I suggest that you go to itunes, emusic or amazon and buy it, keep the hype aside for a bit and enjoy this remarcable work.

I'm leaving you two gifts, the first one is from their album Tooth and it's called "I'm not Afraid of falling", sit back, relax and enjoy it. The other one is called Hallucination, it's not on the album and it has a different style, but it's my personal favorite and I know that you're not going to be able to stop listening to it.
