New Museum of Contemporary Art New York

Next week, New Yorkers will have the opportunity to go tho the New Museum of Contemporary art that will open their doors to the public at their new home in Downtown Manhattan.
This building was designed by Sejima + Nishizawa, two Japanese architects who wanted to make a facility with no columns, well proportioned galleries, roof terraces and make people believe the building is in constant motion.
"We have tried to design a transparent building in the sense that we are not hiding what is happening behind the surface of the structure." (Nishisawa)
"This is the only museum space in New York City devoted to presenting digital art and experimental video from around the world" and unlike others it is in Downtown Manhattan!
This facility will offer a media center, theater, bookstore, library study center, café, and an incredible rooftop

If you live in Manhattan go next saturday because the entrance will be free!
